I think she'll be OK, but she needs to stay in form. She tool me right back to McKinley with the way she was executing the counts, and it honestly made Jacque, Tailyn, and Mel outshine her (they were in the frame).

Maya came along wayyyy..the fans, students, loveeeeee her. Dani will be fine she gone give us seaera with a little April swag. Tailyn looks good with that bun in her head I miss the bun days. Mel omg girllllllll she came a longgggg way lol..if she makes the squad then that back row will be fire.
Yeah stamper seems to have lost her form. It was too bouncy for me.. I really hope they bring connor back.. I'm honestly over stamper im not feeling her in the front. I love her though.

This has always been her form...it just wasn't as apparent because she wasn't up front. I think her style works really well for some things and not quite as much for others. Hopefully she can do some polishing to contain the bounciness of her movements before the fall.
But every captain has some quirks that you just have to look around...there were even a few subtleties with KP that I honestly kinda hated, but still loved her, overall, and I think it'll be the same with Danielle.

Connor is not coming back!.. So please let it go!..and how the hell you over stamper already just by watching a 9 minute video and season haven't started yet!.. Get yo life ms king!
I expect to see a more refined Danielle by the time the season comes. Her progress from her freshman year to this day says a lot about her work ethic so I'm positive she will deliver. The thing I noticed wasn't an issue with her style or personal preference, her form wasn't what it usually is & her hands made me cringe. It's not even about missing KP or a comparison of their styles. As the captain, she stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the cleanliness of those behind her. I love her energy tho.
And again to be realistic, there will be hot, humid, rainy game days. I need them to get their hair serums & elixirs together. Yes, hair gets frizzy (think Hall twins) but when you wear extensions & it clashes with your real hair texture, it looks worse than it should. It's small things like that that make the Doll difference.
Man come on now yall. While I doubt this was an impromptu performance, I don't really think they actually rehearsed for this. She probably told them what to wear and when to meet at the band room. It's way too earlier to make rash decisions on her leading capability and her performance. I think being a captain is something that you just don't fall into but it takes time. Creating 8-counts on the fly is not necessarily new to her but you gotta think, it's harder than it looks. Trying to listen for the music, watch the band director and his cues, and then choose counts that go along with the music. Not to mention depending on the way she throws the stand, she has to watch and count for when it's time to start another one. I think she did great for her real first time leading not including Bayou Classic. Then as far as her hands go, we're so used to seeing them with gloves on that it probably does look weird seeing them dance and use hand movements without them. Go find the Battle of the Bands in 1996 where the Dolls performed the whole time without gloves. But I think that gloves would have been a little too much for this performance.
I liked what they did the other day. I really feel like Jacquelyn is going to be a stand out if she returns. I have always like her along with the others, but I REALLY paid attention to her this last video and I believe she go IT, from her strut all the way to the way she did the counts, it was very sassy and sexy at the same time. I also agree that I feel like Maya is becoming a fan fav if she is not already. I just listened to how the crowd was screaming for her, I think deep down inside she is something special. And of course Taylin and Jordan and Mel was amazing. I like Alyx too, but it something with her facials that Im not the fond of, its be looking like she is thinking or concentrating extra hard or something.
Kitty, I'm feeling this song by Byron Cage, its called " Like No Other "------am dedicating to you and Miss Stamper. People, are giving her a hard time already and its unfair! But this is what every CAPTAIN has gone through every year that I've can remember....... That's why I feel that she is a GOODFIT !!! 1. She is a TEAM Player 2. She always had a pleasant PERSONA 3. I can see it in her EYES. 4. She's BEAUTIFUL inside and out. 5. She always gives us good HAIR---so that's a small problem right now. 6. She's SPRITUAL and a LOVING KIND PERSON. 7. That BODY ain't no JOKE. 8. Her whole Presentation has always been on POINT. 9. She's a GREAT COMMUNCATOR 10. She will work well with her ADVISOR, Mr. Haymer and the other DOLLS !!!
Now, she has the whole summer to get that HAIR right !!! Baton Rouge is known for some good BEAUTY SHOPS----like Raymond Cosey's on Government St., Willie Payne's Dazz Hair Salon and some in the Mall of Lousianna------#NO WORRIES THERE !!! But, I used to LOVE TRACI PRINCE Senior Year HAIRDO"S and BRITTANY BROWN's big hair from 2011 at the TENN. STATE GAME as a point of reference. Even Beatrice, Anngelica, and April Rollins had GREAT DOLL HAIR STYLES !!! HOLD YOUR HEAD UP CAPT> STAMPER----you're going to need your BIG GIRL PANTIES for this CROWD----PS> also, your going to need a STRONG Co-CAPTAIN for this SHIP........
