  • maan damn that was so many bands!!!

shots out to Baker, McKinley middle, Baker Middle, Istrouma, Lutcher, and Park Forest Middle!!!

    good job to all !!!

    your attendance says a lot!!!

  • Yeah, District IV has to be the largest district since we have all of the EBR Schools and the surrounding area schools in Baker, Zachary, Central, East and West Feliciana, Ascension, Livingston , St. James, West Baton Rouge, and Iberville Parishes. I just have to work on my kids with playing more in control on our last selection, they got a little too excited and played a bit too loud on it. According to 2 of the judges, that alone would have bumped us up to at least a  2. Next up, the Archodiocese Band Festival.

  • I don't know about the largest district but I have to say that yall have certainly a larger participation than the N.O. area...

we got overall 3's at SU and at LMEA (4 in sight reading)...

next up is Memphis for a cultural ex+change and a botb, then N.O. jazz fest, then N.O. Middle School Drum Clinic, N.O. Middle School BOTB, then Spring Concert and recital.

  • My school done got all 3's and a one....................i think im glad i didnt go
