Mission: “DLMD” exist to preserve real music and to enlighten young minds on exactly what real music is and consist of. These efforts will be brought forth through thorough teachings and demonstrations from select individuals whom have made it their priority and mission to not let real music die away or be confused with computer generated synthesized beats and sound. We aim to aid today’s directors in teaching students that real music needs to be reinforced and taught in the classroom so that we may be able to produce young men and women who are trained and highly educated on different composers and their era, composition, style, theory, technique and many other subjects dealing with music, musical instruments, and voice. The main focus is simple and simply stated, “Don’t Let Music Die”.

I'm saying too many people are confusing computer synthesized beats and sound for real music. We need to reintroduce composer like Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Richard Wagner, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach, John Philip Sousa and even the modern composers like Robert Sheldon, or Samuel Hazo, Frank Ticheli...We need to introduce theory and music and show how they work together, its more than just playing a horn. We need to introduce proper playing technique and concert decorum etc....real music is getting away from us and the young bandsmen especially middle and high school students
