Extreme State Championship High School Battle of the Bands

This event is the 1st of it's kind, giving the high school marching bands througout the state of louisiana the opportunity to compete against each other to officially be crowned State Champions of Marching Band in Louisiana in their division. This judged event will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 @ Southern University's A.W. Mumford Stadium along with the Human Jukebox performace. Invited bands will be posted very soon. Please give me some of your opinions about this event.

    Sounds like a winner, make sure the best bands are there to compete for the crown. Carroll, Peabody, St Augustine, St Martinville, Southwood...

    Sound's interesting! New event idea for the next Decade? What should the "State Champion" get along with the trophy as well as first and second runner up?
