The FAMU Marching 100 band director who was forced to temporally step down was honored by another band Thursday 4-26-12
The FAMU DRS Band honored Dr. Julian White during its 2nd annual Band Extravaganza .
White was placed on administrative leave from the Marching 100 after the hazing death of Robert Champion. He has since been reinstated.
Thursday, the 30 person band played an array of songs ranging from classical ensembles to jazz and R&B. It was accompanied by a dance performance.
