In an effort to combat hazing and be on the forefront of anti-hazing in HBCUs, FAMU and the "Marching 100" are looking to do a hazing Q&A leading up to our 1st annual Anti-Hazing Week. By doing so, we plan on enlightening high school students on hazing and how to combat it. We are currently accepting questions for our Q&A Vlogs.
Rules:
1. Open to HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS only. So if you've graduated high school you are not welcome to post questions.
2. No PERSONAL question. By this I mean, no questions involve anything within about FAMU or the "Marching 100". This includes current hazing cases.
3. No trolling or bad mouthing. Self-explanatory.
Although nothing we can say or do will right the wrongs we've committed now or in the past, we ask that you guys be understand towards us.
As black people and (potential) HBCU students, remember that we are all we have. When everyone else is trying to bring us down, we should be here to lift each other back up.

Is there still a FAMU band? If not, when are they coming back???
As I said, I rather not answer that question as it's personal about FAMU bands. However, I don't have an answer to that question at the moment besides I don't know.
I would still recommend you ask a question or two in regards to hazing as it would help me out.

Btw, thanks to the Bandhead staff for who made this a featured post, I appreciate it!
Someone should write a "Hazing for Dummies" book or the school should create a course on how not to take it too far and make it mandatory for all. Similar to sex ed... Hazing is not going away.
Yeah we realize we cannot completely stop hazing, but we're trying to enlighten our area, and hopefully, if anyone ever jots a few questions in this thread, the band community as a whole.

We are doing a documentary (sort of), but not about Robert Champion. Because we are generalizing hazing so people know it's not just within band and HBCUs we're using different examples in different kinds of organizations, whether it be sports or whatever.
