Mayne bet money JSU bring that heat this year to a whole new extent. Remember when Doc left SU how cold them bois was that next year. Its bout to happen all over again.

These two schools are always ready for each other. Some schools are just on point every year, no matter what the circumstances in the off season. Both these programs are an esample of that.....but all in all, we'll have to wait and see, i personally can't wait!!
Na, to me SU post '05 is a whole new era. its the Jackson era. I always heard he was taking heat for some of the changes, but anytime someone else take over, there gonna do things there way. Whoever takes over at JSU, i'm sure there will be some changes while still having the basic essence of the band.
I don't expect JSt. to do anything this year. They'll be just about the same Boom (McJackson 3-5) for the first few weeks. Definitely, for SU week.
Personally, I don't think their transition will be as smooth as folks would like it to be. Oh yea....it'll look like it from the outside...but, the insides will be something else. I, honestly, don't see them getting better when the foundation that consist of sound (concept) and marching ain't that strong to begin with.
I see some folks wanna compare their situation with SU. But, SU already had a stable of "professional" writers...and, had their style and sound already in tact. You can't say the same for JSt. in any of those categories, from where I sit.
You can say Im way off or whatnot. But, Ive been watchin not only bands, but the in's and out's of a band programs for awhile...and, it ain't look'n THAT bright for JSt. Not in '09, it's not. Not to say that they'll be poo (even though, they'll still sound like McJackson 3-5)....I'd give it 2 or 3 years for the Boom to get to where they want to be, again...where not just the players are happy...but, fans and alum are as well.
