Grambling/ Alcorn/Miles - Get In

Few Suggestions

Upper Brass - Long Tones, Lip Slurs, Chorales, Triads, Chromatics (2 Octaves, 8 Counts Each, Low to High).

Lower Brass - Long Tones, Lip Slurs, Chorales, Triads, Chromatics (2 Octaves, 8 Counts Each, Low to High).

System of Blue is Good for Brass Sectionals...Warm Up takes 1 hour.

Woodwinds - Double Tongue Studies (when band plays whole notes, woodwinds play ta tika, tika, tika, tika, tika, ta, ta) , Long Tones, Chromatics (3 Octaves, 8 Counts Each, Low to High)

Full Band - Articulation studies on the scale starting at G Major.  Bb should be the last scale of the day and played in round form (1,3,5 up to the dominant and back down on the 8 count whole note to build endurance, also low brass 1, middle 3, high 5 of the scale...then split the parts between the whole band,  each person playing a note different than the person next to them).

Breathing - 1..2...1,2. Ready Play (most bands breath on ready, starting breathing on 1...take a long, slow deep breath, you'll be surprised at what comes out).  Whatever you do, don't forget this; whenever possible take a long, slow deep breath and fill up your horn.  If you do this, you will have unlocked a secret.

Marches I recommend to start - Washington Post, March Grandioso, The White Rose March, The Mad Major, In Strom and Sunshine, Farewell to a Slavic Woman and King Cotton.

It's all just advice, you can do whatever you want to do.
