HI 'TO ALL OF MY HBCU SISTER'S AND BROTHERS. I WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH A FORMER CLASSMATE. AND WERE WONDERING. DO YOU THINK THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC WOULD FORCE SOME OF OUR BELOVED HBCU SCHOOLS TO CLOSE THEIR DOORS PERMANENTLY ???? LET'S GET THE CONVERSATION GOING.

Private And public Institutions
I wonder if it'll effect the out of state students that only have/had one year left at their respective institution. Also wondering if students, that say have protective parents, will force or try to convince kids to stay in state. Could you imagine your dream college/University may stay just as such, a dream awaiting to be fulfilled. Temporarily placed on hold because of a epidemic.
Jackson State cancelled it's High School Band camp. With August just four months away, I wondering if college band camps will be cancelled and the marching band and dance team season will be cancelled also. It could happen, this pandemic his a life of it's own.
I agree, Eric. Seeing a lot of talk and speculation about next season, and while I think optimism is all and good, the fact is that there’s so much in front of us now about how the health of everyone can be protected. We don’t know what or when programs will be able to do band work together. Will we have a season?
