Congradulations to all the bands selected for the Honda Battle of the Bands for 2009, I know everyone will represent for there Conference well. It feels to good to know that HBCU bands are finally getting more financial support this year, and its well deserved. But there is one oberservation with the SWAC conference. Where's the PVU Marching Storm? For a band that provides one of the best Show Style Halftime performances of the HBCU Bands, featuring highly skilled n creative drum features that captures the audience year after year, a great quality sound, and high powered show from beggining to end; there's no way this band should have been left out of the Battle. NO DISRESPECT to TSU or JSU, because they are fine marching bands, and I have much respect for those programs and every other HBCU Band program. But WHEN IT COMES TO FIELD SHOW ROUTINES The Marching Storm out classes any band in the SWAC. The only reason why I beleive this band wasn't chosen , was because earlier this year they under Investigation for hazin. Other that reason and that reason alone there's no way the Marching Storm should not be competing.

every pv band memeber says "i went for four years, let someone else go"! stop using that as an excuse to justify the fact that atl is tired of seeing yall! if the marching storm out classes any band in the swac..why arent they going?

Shoot...because it's true! Other bands deserve the opportunity to go and experience the event just like the Storm has. I'm a Marching Storm Alum, and as much as I love my band, even I got tired of hearing about them going to that BOTB year after year...after year....after year. So I'm almost certain that most of the current members of the Storm aren't sweating the fact that they aren't going this year. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to take their name off of the ballots altogether. "4 and out" ain't necessarily a bad thing you know.

They werent chosen because he people got tired of seeing them plain and simple! I hope PV doesn't think they did one little rose bowl and a couple of hondas that they are on the map, hell many still don't know about the program lol!

and for the smart comment about the so called circus act, My nigga i am in the B.O.X and what we do on the field is to entertain the crowd, not try to entertain other drumlines. U assume for some odd reason that we can't play but we have never been up agaist anybody worth challenging, As my boy marcus said, ignorance is truly bliss, but then again let's see any other hbcu school drag some of their players around on the ground while their playin hybrids, until then calm that noise you talking down and come see me on the drum for real
