houston football

What do you guys think so far?

i will say...

Yates from what i seen you guys have a little more power this season.. i was impressed mistakes were minimal especially for the first game.

Booker t....i was impressed as well drill was pretty clean, looks like a few more horns in the band this year. Very  nice performance


Any body else been to games so far????????  I head sterling played jones  and worthing had a game as well

    I know they not showstyle but I will be seeing Reagan tomorrow. I am gonna try and get footage of all HISD bands this year...even schools that don't have a band...Please bring your 'A' game...tape don't lie.

    Shouts out to Lee High School for restarting their football program....why did they stop anyway?

    Thanks for the positive comments... to the Booker T. Washington "Baby Ocean" of Soul Marching Band, I am very proud of you ...especially the freshman... we have a long way to go...but if you continue perform like you did last night ... we should get there in a short time .

    i saw Willowridge they are a lil smaller than last year but man them boys r blowing! Nothing much has changed their style is still unique. Lookin good ridge

    For a while Lee had trouble getting kids to even come out for football. But they had to turn away kids trying out for futbol...

    NF played Reagan Thursday...pretty good sound, and they had their whole show on the field. Just needed some cleaning up from set to set.

    Cleve I went to Revere middle school and if I were to have stayed I would have went to Lee. When lee got Colorful all the talent went to alief and the private schools. I work in that area by Revere and I think it (and distance) was one of the reasons why they built Westside. Lee is Furr's sister school. Both are clamoring for talent that is in the area but since neither offers anything except on paper they can't get that talent. Its hard to get talent when your school is known as a drop out factory, the principal is only trying to make HERSELF look good and the feeder middle school is not sending kids to the high school (Furr) or Your school has to deal with 100 different languages cultures and religion and the (white) talent not wanting to go there because its too colorful.(Lee)

    Speaking of Furr get them for me next week Cleve!
