Texas College, Albany etc they remind me so much of SU. Trust me there are many more that mimmick SU. I understand Albany State's director is an SU grad but does that mean that his band should look like SU?
I can understand maybe having the same style as the other band, but when you start doing the same exact drills and show format as the band, along with playing some of their arrangements, it becomes a big problem. Do something to set yourself apart from the other bands.
Look at NSU.. they don't have anything about them that says SU and their director is of an early Greggs Era.. and aside from the fact that general marching concepts werent started at SU.. the WAY its projected by certain bands is SU-Like..
