Wheatley suffers from the same thing that plauges Kashmere and Furr....no stable feeders. now...Wheatley dosent suffer from this as bad as the other 2 but that is really because its the biggest school out here. I have heard talk of them closing Furr and busing everyone to PWHS, like it was back in the day. it was projected that the school would eventually be 5a. the only way this happens is if a school closes. But it would be a big black/hispanic school in the middle of the ghetto that would turn the tables in sports (furr is undefeated in football), music (they just need bodies) and education (even when the state took over kids were still getting taught), and I cant see hisd wanting that....
as for the band, they good...i got video somewhere...yall just need more bodies because of instrumentation issues. same thing with all of the 3a and half of the 4a schools
wheatley band is doing excellent for their size.....put a band with the same size in front of them n see what happens.....i jst think their drum section is too big for their horn section..... bt their drum section is sumthin serious....iv also been checkin out their trumpet section they ar great..... im nt tlkin bout those old videos yall can see online .. im talking about now.... go to a wheatley game and tell me what u think.................................... and also i think they play north forest for home coming..how do u think thats gonna play out?

I'm assuming you attend Wheatley for obvious reasons. My high school plays against Wheatley our last game and I am looking forward to a nice battle.
