What happened to the All-Star bands in South Florida??? Broward County?? Dade??

We do have an all star band in Florida. We (Broward) have done one since 07. In 09 Richard Beckford, Blanche Ely High School Director of Bands, hosted it. That was the year when we went against the Dade All Star Band. Last year, Miramar High School did it because we (Blanche Ely High) were at the St. Petersburg Battle of The Bands and we didnt get back in time to make it happen. And this year Miramar hosted it for the South Broward vs North Broward All Star Game and invited a couple other Broward schools. My band director, Mr. Beckford, told us we were gonna do the Broward vs Dade All Star Band and invite many other high schools. This will take place January 14 i believe. But i really dont know if we're hosting it because when i went to go check out Miramar's All Star Band, the band director told everybody "See you guys in January". so i assumed that they were gonna do it instead of us even though our director told us we're doing it. Well reguardless of who ever does it, it will be a really fun experience. In 09 we had more than 300 students do it. Hopefully we'll host it because it will be much more organized, and we'll enjoy ourselves more than if Miramar did it.

Im talking about Alumni also not just a higschool All-star band January 14th is during Our class time so I wanna see how we can arrange one more towards the off off season for everyone.

That is NOT the South Florida All-Star band lol. That was like 4 Miami Highschools put together.

I dont think that could happen unless we were to go against another all star band.
