NCAA ranks Southern’s ‘Human Jukebox’ marching band second in nation.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association has named Southern University’s “Human Jukebox” marching band as the second best collegiate marching band in the country, topped only by Ohio State University.

“This is downright amazing for our students that the NCAA has taken notice of what we do at Southern University,” Southern Director of Bands Lawrence Jackson said in a news release. In the latest Tom Joyner Foundation Poll of the week, the Southern University band received over 20,000 votes for being the best Band in the HBCU land.

School of the month for November?? It's still September!!!! Quit posting this old junk and stop trying to make false claims about being the best. As long as YOU believe it that's enough. We all think our band is the best no matter what outsiders say. And where and when was this poll taken? I'm sure if you guys received 20,000 votes for best band probably 19,999 were from Su people,I ASSURE you,gtfoh!!

There is a lot of parity with the swac bands this year and I'm very proud of that. They ALL sound good so please don't let these kinds of things take away from that fact because there are 9 other swac bands that in my opinion are just as good as you,so pls don't let one of these bands catch you slipping while you're so concerned with getting outside props!! It COULD happen.
