heard the boom not attending.... and its not Jackson State Botb its someone else botb ...... but 2 chainz and kierra sheards and someone suppose to be there performing....

Let me tell ya'll about that BOTB. JSU and SU don't come to this every year because first, the black folks that run it aren't JSU people. A few years back they couldn't pay the participating bands because some thieves allegedely stole all of the $100,000 from the promoters. This BOTB is well attended because of the performing acts but it is entirely too long. They start at 2 p.m and about 11 high school bands perform followed by a few collegiate bands. They finish around 9:30 p.m. A almost 10 hour show is ridiculous.
It's being held at JSU stadium but they promoters are still paying JSU for renting the stadium and by the way the money they give the bands aren't worth it.
Oh mo contrer my friend. As of July 1, 2012 that Stadium belongs to JSU and yes anyone can rent it and JSU is cashing in. For your information they have a CSPIRE concert, battle of the bands and many other events and YES SIR JSU OWNS IT NOW. Know your facts boo.
