I've been a member on this site for a long time and people on here still don't get it and they take it personal when it's just pride for your band and our institution, obviously alot of people must've have never been around SU fans because they talk more s*it than we do when it comes to band football and just overall love for the school. The only people on here I respect is the JSU people and the GSU people because they understand what's going on because their pride is the same as ours but when people actually take it personal like we (SU) really think we created marching band and we think we never lose a battle, and the Dolls are gods gift to the world it's rediculous if you really believe these things.....Everytime I open up a topic it can be about Albany St. and someone will be on there saying something like.. (Oh them SU people gonna say we created that too) lol, and when we recognize it and make a comment ya'll get all sensitive and be like here we go again. Even in the Dancing forums when someone talk about certain things or make a doll topic people even hate in there, they even make it there point to go out of there way to be like the Dolls are not as good as they used to be or the Gold n Blues or better than the doll, are ya'll serious. We have PRIDE for our school and this didn't start at SU it was something people in Louisiana would do even on the middle school level it's hust pride people...Pull up ya'll skirts because N1gga's is getting soft these days, lol.......

Even more specifically is the way we take pride down here in the N.O. We like to talk shat no matter win lose or draw. It's nothing personal it's just being who we are.
SU talk more junk than any band in the history of HBCUs.
if a band doesnt blow like them (FAMU, Cookman) then its a automatic loss. SU always says they better than FAMU and Cookman because they "blew them out". CLEARLY if FAMU and Cookman wanted to blow like the SWAC, they would be the loudest bands on earth. SU has the best drills..no lie but halftime they are boring as hell. Dance Routines put folks to sleep. only good thing bout SU's drills are the lines are perfect almost 100% of the time, but other than that SU is just a cocky ass band with a big sound
When I think about it.SU always going to draw haters because its Successful University.We talk our isht and back it up.The only school I see besides SU that can do that is GSU,JSU,TXSU,and for some reason I think PVU.See people dont realize is that SU has their own style.They are the highest stepping marching band in the land and i know they are the most entertaining band in the land.So if u going to hate go head on and hate.Yall the reason why we so great.

Because u have people give them too much credit SU/JSU/GSU for things that are unnecessary ..LOL
Generally giving SU credit for Everything .... folks say "SU Started (Insert whatever here) "
Such as Crediting them for The Band in Drumline wearing SU colors ( and fighting the other band LOL)
as well as saying that Orlando Jones (as Dr. Lee) looked like Dr. Greggs ..LOL
Crediting SU dolls what Beyonce did in her Single Ladies video.
The Improper Use of "J-Sette" (and saying that DANCE TEAMS Started at SU)
Or when any band does the a special event, SU folks tend to say "We were Invited umpteenth times but denied request"
