When I made these picks, I factored in everything the position comes with. Having to deal with the "new school hazing" is one of them. I wouldn't mind getting Taylor or anyone from that era, but tactics that worked back then wouldn't work these days. Deal with the politics of JSU and hardships that would follow. Even having to get up after a football game to go do a BOTB somewhere in Alabama for some money.

I would like to go on record that JSU has NOT picked its next permanent band director. Topic title is misleading.
