JSU/SU can get along..

On some real isht...out of all the noise we talk there is a respect that we have for each other (except GAME DAY, anything goes). I happened to catch SU drum major under the bridge for Mardi Gras in New Orleans about 2 weeks back. We talked bout drum major issues, band smack/noise and all that. I just wanted to put this pic out here because I know alot of people think its all hate lol, but we can get along..

That's all fine and dandy but i can't respect an individual that belittles my program on a constant basis, when you belittle my program day after day, i take that as personal because you're belittling me because i'm apart of the program. Now i'm cool with good ole smack but if someone degrades my program time and time again i can't fake it and have a kumbaya moment with them but I majority of the people are just smacking to get some laughs, it's some on here that don't smack though. lol

See i overlook people like this, same ole same ole, no kind of creativity whatsoever, biting from what has been said since the beginning of time, can't suck to much if you spent time going to find clips and pics. SMH! Whoever you are, you love us, by the way did you march in the SWAC or are you the typical SU groupie? LMAO

For a band program that you have no respect for, you're sure focusing on it, WOW. I would never give something the time of day that i felt wasn't up to my standards but i digress. Hyprocity at it's best. Keep bashing on the white shoes and commercial but your hate will not whipe out Grambling's Legacy and the drive to get better.

Not just jsu and su... Heck all bands. When we played Albany state, afterwards we went to golden corral with em, chilled, cracked jokes... Nothin happened. And they and us are rivals like jsu and su. It all depends on how you carry yourselves when yall aren't across the field with each other. Now, if you come with the same "kill, kill!" attitude as across the field, be prepared for a problem...

On the real, its the NON MARCHERS that causes the most problems. You have a few old heads from each program that keep that beefing mess up but majority of the peeps are cool. The drama starters are the culprits and the groupies. I got frat and homies in many SWAC bands so i'm cool with many people. If i'm not cool with a person on a personal level i just don't speak. Faking is for the birds. LOL

we go at it all day & night wit A&M but when the mayhem is over its all luv.....after the mardis gras parade we were chillin n minglin wit them b4 we hit the busses......rivalries are intense but in the end its all jus good fun

You can't do anything positive on this site lol. It's always gonna be that one person who decides, "oh, its negroes trying to get along..NOT UP IN HERE!" LMFAO. I'm at my computer reading some of this and just shaking my head and laughing. Gotta love HBCU's and band. lol. Cats from PV, Bama St., TXSU, GSU, Miles, SU, Valley just to name a few were down on Bourbon. I'd have on some paraphernalia and we all would stop, dap each other off, talk some noise etc. It's like being being in a family. No matter what school you were repping, everybody still had that level of respect for each other because WE ALL know what it takes march on that college level.
