Jumpstart Comparison N.0 vs MAAB

U cant compare no band to N.O. when it comes to playing jump-start. MAAB just surprised everyone when they play jump-start no disrespect to them but it was still average.U dont have to search hard of bands playing jump-start better than MAAB in New Orleans as evident up top.

  • man what are you talking about.. and how can you compare HS bands to an all-star one? why?
    • thats high scool wit alumni. homecoming
    • easy lil boy and if u think MAAB better than either one of the clips u on dope.Like i said that jump-start was average .it was just a suprise to everyone out there that yall played a N.O. classic .no disrespect but is was average  once again I have heard better and from some high schools  in New Orleans at that,so deal with it

      • Son if it was so average then you wouldn't have taken out your time to make this slaw ass thread. Obviously MAAB got some attention and you seem bothered by it... and yea why would you compare high schools with an all-star band.... and BTW MAAB is louder and sounds better than both of these high schools.
        • they all sound the same...just MAAB's louder[b/c of size] and is more in tune ...-kanye shrug-
          • Rite.... so the point he attempted to try and prove receives a # FAIL!!!
      • if what you posted is so much better why not include the MAAB clip in your "comparison".. like Taylor C said you get a #fail on this point you tried to prove...
  • MAAB sound better that both those clips you posted... some of these new orleans dudes are oblivious to the truth... thats why i never discuss band when i go out..
  • lol niggas in N.O. think they are god's gift to the band world...get real for 5 seconds...2's....
  • Yes MAAB's Jumpstart was  Massive and Clean. It doesn't matter if it's a mock arrangement because half the time there was no need for music to Jumstart. thats a tune that the whole city knew  10 years ago... we didn't even play it at Kennedy but we knew the music because it was so simple.. I hated it because it seemed like a bunch of Noise....but maybe that has something to do with me being from Kennedy.

To the untrained ear.  anybody can sound good. ...

The Clips don't lie...MAAB was the most intense band that day.. ATL was greater than both Memphis and N.O yet they had their low points too.  I think it was because they were nervous though.Over All, they sounded and looked great and for their sized they produced a sound quality better than everybody... yet there was no thing to impress the crowd.. why? because the crowd wants to hear Thunderous power.

Memphis IMO should have been way better. I understand that was somewhat of a New Band.. And I know that all this online bickering and trash talk as gotten the best of us... but The truth is that These 2 bands show  that both N.O and Memphis HS bands are in a Rebuilding stage. What these alumni and mass bands are here to do is to Be The Influence..to Keep the the young folks interested music.....

    (on a lighter note)

...yes N.O is Gods gift to the band world. ..lol
