Las Vegas Football Classic?

So just out of curiosity...besides the LV Classic from '03, has there ever been another LV Classic that featured HBCU schools?? I Googled it, but the only game that ever comes up was the one from '03.

    yes Grambling and NCAT, I think Alcorn and some body as well

    Grambling vs TNSU in 2002 and Southern vs North Carolina A&T in 2003. It was canceled in LV in 2004. Grambling vs Alcorn supposed to be the match-up for the game but the sponsors had problems.

    Wow...the World Famed vs. AoB...is there any footage of the bands from that game??? Both bands were extremely crucial during those years.

    EDIT: FYI, just found out that Alcorn vs. More house took place in '06.

      that was in Los Angeles tho...the Angel City Classic.

      Alcorn vs. Morehouse 06

      Prairie View vs. NCAT 07

      Prairie View vs. Morehouse 08

       

      then it was cancelled.

        My bad man...I guess the official name for it is the "Silver Dollar Classic." Thanks for the info though. Any reason why it was canceled though?

          I don't know why because most HBCU games are successful in the West. Guess they didn't have enough sponsors to keep it up.

          Not the Silver Dollar Classic. Grambling and TNSU were in the first Silver Dollar Classic.

            Just checked....

             

            It was the Gold Coast Classic in San Diego in 02 between those two.
