Im sure some of you all were in LLI late 2003. To bring back some memories, this was our second monday night practice to prepare for some big parade in January and practice was held at SU that night. I remember us being transferred from a classroom in DuBois Hall to the bandroom because there wasnt any room to fit everyone. Keep in mind the first Monday practice at LLI's gym, there was a head count of 131.The second Monday practice, there was a head count of 225;
16 piccs/flutes
40 clarinets
19 saxaphones
38 trumpets
18 f. horns
17 baritones
21 trombones
19 tubas
and a crap load of percussion...How do I remember all of this; lets just say I was too krunk behind finally being in a band of more than 50 people lol.
Anyways, Knighten taught us Another Star, and Dub from Northwest High taught us My Boo, and some other song was also played. I believe Cold Hearted Snake.
I KNOW SOMEONE HAS FOOTAGE OF THAT NIGHT...TAPEMASTER, WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU? LOL
