I was surprised to see U-High(LSU Lab), Parkview Baptist, Central, and Denham Springs make such bad scores. Those schools usually make 1's at festival, especially Denham Springs. I was glad to see Dutchtown, St.Amant, and East Ascension continue to bring their A game.
The middle school scores were much better overall.
.. i bet ignorant folks are gonna think that's walker from N.O lol...
... glad to see Juvon puttin' the work in.... I bet he pulled out the concert version of X-Rated ..LOL j/k

Judging this year for High Schools was very TERRIBLE. In past years the lowest rating given out was usually one or two 4's NEVER a 5. Wayyy too many good programs received 2's and 3's when they deserved better. I heard all the morning groups on Monday and ALL groups on Tuesday. Judges knew they started too harsh on Monday and had to continue the SLAUGHTER Tuesday that they began on Monday. Same judge that gave me a 3 on Monday gave me a 1 Friday at SU...Go Figure. You don't improve 2 ratings in 3 days!
Middle School scores were better because they had a different set of judges than the Slaughter crew on Monday & Tuesday. Dutchtown Middle went on Monday since their band director is the District Chair. They received 2's for the 1st time in 13 years. If they had performed on Wed or Thur with the other middle schools they would have continued their dominance.
