    I remember Txsu played them in 2002 or 2003 in the Dome. The past few years Txsu been traveling to Jackson to play the Boom!

    I think Houston is pretty much on lock for TXSU and PV.

    No it's not! Grambling has a good number of Houston peeps and it has always been like that, one of our largest alumni chapters reside in Houston. Just think of it like this. TXSU and PV bands would be huge if majority went to those universities.

    Houston is a big city. There's enough people to go around to all the SWAC schools.

    Consider the source about that announcement. Every year the MLK group puts like 50-60 schools' names out there, and many of the band directors hadn't even made up their minds.

    The MLK people promise this & that to bands and when its time for travel no checks have been cut. SWD, StAug to name a few. All they do is fight, lie and pocket money from sponsors... Idiots cant even agree upon ONE MLk parade in Houston. MLK Houston is an embarrassment to what its supposed to represent. But if JSU said "yes" pending a check from these MLK people then there's a 102% chance (with 2% margin of error) JSU wont be in Houston for MLK.

    All of the schools that placed last year still havent received their trophies yet. They keep saying they have been ordered.

    Now that's bad business. If they can't get something as simple as trophies to the schools, hell will the pay for JSU's expenses? LMAO
