I went to the battle last night and enjoyed myself. My opinion between simply goes personal preference. MAAB was indeed louder than Memphis. But, Memphis actually sounded better and had a better song selection. It seemed like to me that EVERYTHING that MAAB played was at either a forte, fortissimo, or fortississimo (f, ff, or fff), while Memphis displayed some "musicianship." Like i said, its all on what you're looking for. If you're looking for extremely blowing all the time: MAAB. If you're looking balance and variety: Memphis. Overall, both bands did a pretty good job.

Even tho I was expecting to see the other allstar bands that didn't show. MAAB and Memphis Mass band had another great battle. Memphis is a Musical Beast. MAAB Powerful Beast. Memphis Song selection, style, and power always sets the tone during the the tone during the summer. MAAB had good selection and power that was consistent all night. Honestly this battle comes down to what you as a person would prefer. Overall, I give this battle an A+ for the summer. Best summer bands hands down.
