MADI GRAS WEEK #2

Well the mardi gras parades for galvaston are over so.. what dose everybody think......

here are the list of bands.. that were there...this weekend...

Austin

Booker T. Washington

Sterling

Yates

Davis

Milby

Beaumont Ozen

Rossavelt (From Dallas)

Waltrip

Galvaston Ball

Hitchcock......

Well thats all tell me your thoughts... i saw lots of camas.. and bandheads... so spill the beans......

I did not see every body,but I.M.O These are my top 5 for the night every body keep up the good work!!! Much props to all BD and PD!

1. Worthing - The lil Beast That Could!
2.Davis - Each time i see them they getting better!
3.Milby - Much improve from football season!
4.Austin - Good Sound didnt see you guys battle much... Unless it happen before i got there.
5.Ozen - Sound good ,but was not the same Ozen From M.L.K

I will have my footage up in a few hrs Its uploading now ...

Oh hey kat thanks for the percussion battle... my kids really needed that.....and IM digging yall snare's and quints.. them boy were very very nice.. keep it up K.Lee... to me that was the cleanest drumsection I heard next to worthing......yall boys are on it

The parade officials were tippin on us.

Austin vs Worthing Considered to be the championship of the Houston Area bands. After 4 songs, both bands had to move. Cant wait til Rodeo Parade.

Since we were at the front of the parade, nobody was really there except for Kashmere and Roosevelt so it became a two on one where the one was the size of the two..... So you know how it went.

I saw a little bit of the three way between Davis, Booker T. and I think Milby. Worthing did good. Wussup with this Ozen-Worthing rivalry? LOL

Saw Worthing yesterday morning... It doesnt make any since how beasty them bois are !! HEAD BUSSAS was ....Unexplainable. lol

wow it would have been great if Royal would have gone... but we are going to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo... is that parade any good??? i mean band-wise.

okay cool so.. I guess.. rodeo will be another time for folks to have they camera.....cooll.. its allways good to have more bands at rodeo... hey did any body see Sam Houston .. or did they even go.. I didnt see them???

You will LOVE Rodeo Parade. They take care of you.

And one thing I didnt like at Mardi Gras was a particular band marching alumni. Alumni helping out is fine as in the case of Kashmere but as far as old students and students putting on a uniform and marching against high school students: thats prideless. You should be ashamed. If you are offended, good. Most people go get jobs after high school or go to college, not put their band uniform and march.

Wow boys still marching alums??? Speechless...but as far as rivals w ozen....its no rivalry we jus love playing n they seem to enjoy it too lol...great job to all bands wr seen....keep up the energy folks....lil beast that could huh? Lol u guys r retarded.... But we will b at rodeo parade w a new look so we will c how det goes...prob wont do much battling unless its sum1 we havnt seen yet???
