-Parade---some reason I had a nightmare that a band would play "Thriller" at the parade. Guess what it came true. ASU thanks. lol. On the real both bands and dance lines looked good and the bands sounded Good at the parade. Not sure who was over the parade committee but Y put a high school band right in front of AAMU?
-Pregame---interesting both bands entered the stadium at the exact same time. A&M sounded good entering the stadium. Did not hear ASU. Untill 3rd song in the stand. A&M played first. A&M brough heat to ASU. ASU giving it back. I haven't seen a battle during the pregame in a while like this. Good job to both bands.
-Stands (1st and 2nd)- AAMU had a much more crisp sound and sounded better than ASU. ASU was loud and at times pitchy.
-Halftime- AAMU all the way! I guess because of time they had to run on the field. SAW intro was Good! Good Drum-major entrance with the jigsaw man. AAMU SHOW was VERY GOOD OVERALL. DANCING DIVAS put on a show! Michael Jackson was the Show!
- ASU very Good Drum-major entrance. then silence. hump, hump, shake shake. applause. O' yea Honebees.
AAMU took the Halftime Show!
Stand (3rd and 4th) umm. sectional stuff. VERY boring both did okay.
5th quarter. Both ASU and AAMU did very Good. Finally at the end ASU had a great sound. AAMU song selection was better with a crisp and full sound. I would give the 5th quarter to AAMU MMW!

The way I see it you can't judge a battle if you currently march...
A&M... I'll comment on you guys 1st... honestly, A&M has a really good sound... Trumpets and F Horns make you guys suffer though... the B tones are your back bones! If the rest of the band can get anywhere near their level, A&M would definitely be a force!
ASU... the sound is 10X better than last year and the pwer is still there... a far more balanced sound too... we can't just settle for "better" though, because there's still room for improvement...
The overall game wasn't as excited as in the past, but I think the weather played a factor in that... I was pleased to finally see a somewhat pregame battle though! Both brought it early... during the game the sectional stuff was boring... way too many fanfares... I was able to appreciate ASU more during the game for playing more full songs during the game... The SWAC rules still suck!!! Both halftime were pretty dry... correct me if I'm wrong , but A&M did the same MJ tribute from their first few games and the Montgomery BOTB despite having a bye week last week...
5th was boring do to song selctions... To many ballads!

Pre game Bama State all gay n nem arr sound like a bunch of chords and baritone quarter notes(not saying that's how its written but that's how it sounds) nothing gay n nem played (disclamer I don't remember anything they played outside of run this town garbage) could compare to empire just a kiss or hate me now and the diffrence in the maybach lol (side note minnie me was whack for calling out we miss robert I don't give a d*mn about rickey smiley.
First half Bama State. I had fun flaming the gay n nem faithfull for there band not having a book. (I dare some one to call this a lie their btones played more
fanfares then there band played songs) gerome turned the band to the endzone on return I was like d*mn (gay n nem would try the same thing later which just served to further expose them as garbage) return has to be the perfect example of Bama State arr style. Bama State played playa why you hatin which is pretty much whole notes..some one from gay n nem said it was funny seeing Bama State whole band breathe at the same time it was funny seeing gay n nem band bring there horns to there mouths whenever they felt like it either they were skating or had no discipline.
