MLK All American Battle of the Bands

Okay, as we can see, this battle has not been advertised too much.

Bands participating

Bmt Central

BMT Ozen

Royal

North Forest

Jones

Westbury

Jack Yates

Hightower

Booker T. Washington

From what my Director has told us. No Cataogries, every band for themeselves!

1st Place($2000)

2nd Place($1500)

3rd Place($1000)

This event is sponcered by Kroger and the Houston Food Bank!!

Opinions on this event, you think it will grow to be a great event over the next few years or be like the other MLK and be good for a few years then have a downfall...?

Wow. So this is the meeting they had last week? I thought some funny shid was going on with the Saturday one. Why was this botb kept so quiet?

And thing is, if it doesnt bring a crowd then the corporate sponsor wont fund it next year so I hope its successful

supposably they wanted to create this event and sponcer it. so yeah lol

and idk why it was so quiet. but its at W. W. Thorne Stadium in Aldine ISD. 3pm Monday afternoon.

very de-centralized location..It would be best if the directors in that area tell there kids to go to it...Good luck with that one. If they have it I will be there.

Stevenson Middle School DrumLine is also performing, we are the Opening of the BOTB...

Yeah,but being with my middle school... Imma have to play the role of director first so... im not sure how its going to play out... Kinda glad Sam Houston is not going cause then i would have to do 3 jobs LOL...

IDK ... the one at butler is 15 and then they wanted to charge me an extra $5 for my camera ... I was like, no thanks... and it was starting to rain.. SMH I hope Monday BOTB becomes the new MLK BOTB to be at...
