Valley was a whole lot better than they were last year
1. Gsu...they have really stepped it up especially during the latter part of the season
2. AAMU are making strides as far as sound although it doesn't seem all the way together to me but there has been improvement
3. Valley didn't sound horrible this year...They weren't wonderful sounding but they aren't as bad as people make them out to be well at least not during that second to last game
WORST
1. Alcorn isn't what they were last year. To me they had a decent sound at least when we saw them...from what I've heard this year they have lost their dam minds or something...its not sounding too hot
2. Alstate has taken a few steps backwards as far as sound is concerned they really need to do some work over there
3. .....don't really know
I think Alcorn did alright this year. You can tell they are in a rebuilding stage.
Grambling is by far the most improved in all areas: sound, marching, drilling, size, dance routines etc.
As for AAMU- they are about the most AVERAGE band I have ever seen. They dont suck but they dont impress me either. They are just so so..
Alabama State needs to reinstate hazing to fix their problems but then again, I dont think that would help because they have been kind of sloppy for years past. That means the upperclassmen are used to it. However, AlSU could do some serious damage with the instrumentation they have. The numbers are very impressive
