Music Players From Each State

Some states are known for producing people that can play this instrument or that instrument well. For example when people see Louisiana they automatically think mellophone or b-tone. So what is your state known for?

I think the state of Alabama which is my state is known for sousaphones and trombones.

Texas=Percussion.

Louisiana=Brass.

I think alabama is a strictly lower brass state.............i play all brass but mainly baritone/euphonium

Mississippi.....well...Jackson-wise... Percussion, Trombones, Tubas, Trumpets....

never really knew it to be known for btones or mellos
