ok so im interested in the following and i would like someone 2 tell me about the school's BUSINESS program and their band(PS i dont want 2 go to the school just for the band th band will keep me in shape and not of trouble)(not n the order of interest)1.Norfolk2. FAMU3.JSU4.Central State5. NC A&T6.NCCU7.SUo nd also i wanna knw how 2 play Mellophone or trumpetbcuz i wanna be hear better even though im VERY loud on my C-neti already play clarinetbut i wanna learn anotherso who can teach me?

i dont go to any of those schools, but i can tell you that JSU will probably be the cheapest one out of all them. That out of state tuition for FAMU is a killer..hopefully you will be able to get a scholarship if you plan to go there.
as far as band, a lot of folks make the mistake of going to school for band. i dont know what you plan on majoring in, but if it's music then make sure you major in MUSIC and not in MARCHING BAND (meaning dont go to school just for band...dont be one of those people that never goes to class but you will find them in band practice everyday).
like i said i dont go to any of these schools, but as a college musician i can give you a little info on them the best way i know how..
Norfolk= one of the best sounding bands in the country. they dont play a lot of music the average HBCU band will play because of their style. they are kinda a mix between showstyle bands and DCI.
FAMU=my high school director was from FAMU so all the music i played in HS came from them. i could probably transfer there now if i wanted to cause i still have most of their music memorized lol. but they only want the "best of the best". if you have any doubt in your musical talent then you shouldnt be at FAMU
JSU=typical SWAC band...they play with a lot of power. imma keep it real...besides their drummajors and dancers, they are kinda boring to me. just keeping it real again...after you see them play "get ready" then there really is nothing to see to me but hey im not the one trying to go there so look at clips for yourself and judge how you like them.

but NCCU took a hit in my book when they stole FAMU's halftime show last year at the Honda. if your band is best known for swagger jacking another band then it aint good lol.
