    spirit songs usually have a religious background...i.e. Bama State spirit = old time religion

    If you're crowd and the team requests it time and time and time again, it's a spirit song! I'm tired of the MF myself but you have to play it to keep the crowd and team hype! So it's a spirit song because once you play it, school spirit is displayed hard! Neck is like crack to the crowd! lol

    Yeah, our crowd goes crazy when we play it. It is most definitely an official school spirit song for us.
