Did u hear that the superintendent said that nobody can have practice on a tuesday after noon except football teams? So that means that New Orleans bands will lose a whole day of practice. Personally i think its some bullshit. Y should da football team get priviledges da bands don't get. Are they better den us? Well definitely not at ma skool.

i honestly dont see a problem with it at all.i would make my band personally attend homework groups or leap tutoring that day, to make sure i at least have a damn band after the first report card comes out. if your band is going to suffer that much from missing 1 day of practice a week, something is wrong!
im not sayin da band would suffer that much im jux sayin its not rite 4 football 2 hav priveledges band dont. by dem sayin that its lik sayin da football is better den da band

to real dude same ish happened last year went waz reed and we'd still pratice thru out the week it will be infective until maybe the next semester of school trust me the happen last year

TRUE!!!!! First of all New Orleans is corrupt from the head,down to the bottom!!! From the MAYOR all the way to the garbage men lmao!!! But Orleans Parish School Board is very confused,POOR,corrupt,and unstable.No, I don't think it's fair that the football team gets to practice daily and the band can't on some days,that is f'd up.When things like this happen someone needs to be a MAN/WOMAN about things and say something!!! But everybody is afraid of losing their jobs or getting on the principal bad side!!! Until someone open they mouth and say something,things like this will continue to happen.Then the principal's have TOO MUCH POWER!!!! It's not like before Katrina when OPSB had someone over the music department,now if the principal don't like you,or yall have a mutual disagreement about something,you have to be on edge cause you might lose your job the next day.NOW THAT'S F'D UP!!!
