New SWAC RULES

Anything to improve the quality of SWAC football....I guess.

I knew that once they saw that the initial batch of rules against the bands wouldn't do jack squat to improve the gameplay, they would add more to the rules to silence the bands.

But I hope this is just a rumor too...lol

That's been the rule since they started those new band rules in like 06. At least that's what's written. But you know the deal.

I heard that now they don't want ANY noise while the ball is in play period.after the hike..I hope this is a rumor

This same rule was in effect last season. The SWAC peeps came to Grambling last band camp because Doc Pannell wanted them to tell the band about the rules themselves and that rule has been in effect but the SWAC refs only enforces it when they want to.

The rules are only enforced at certain games, the refs aren't fair at all. The refs won't say nothing really until the coaches complain.
