Alright. So I go to UT Martin, and am one of the tuba players. This past year we introduced our section to the tuba fanfare world with Deebo. When TSU came around and we played it, as usual. It was nice (to me) to hear them play it back and try to invoke a battle. Unfortunately, our director caught wind of what I was trying to do a lot sooner than I had hoped and put a stop to us from playing it again.
Now a few folks from our athletic department are behind us and are encouraging us to do more stuff, but all the arranging has fallen on me somehow. What do you all usually look for when picking a song to arrange?
