If the band directors do not stop all of this bickering and fighting there will be consequences. A great leader will know when to step up and be seen and when to take a step back and be heard. It is not about how many students you have, but the quality of their instuction. If your band is no more than 25 and everybody can read and play, that's excellent. It is more than just building a great band-build a foundation. Try building some character and that includes the band director as well.I returned back to public education this year and what I have seen thus far is not good. Personal issues should never be placed where everyone can view it .Be professional, please, and call the person or inbox them.
Never take somebody's idea and pretend like it was yours. The idea that you have is greater.
There is too much confusion around Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr and Juneteenth Parades. A time when it should be unity; there is so much division. There is nothing wrong with competition; but when it gets to the point where there are no boundaries or limits - It is just another fight. Please remember we are grooming musicians and productive citizens. The students already know how to fight and, divide and conquer (LOL).Make sure that you are teaching for the right reasons.

aside from that.It seems like even after i killed a topic regarding the subject "new people" are joining to continue
That has never changed Book... You think MS is dead then BAM! A messy topic and a flood of new "anonymous" members who are experts in the subject area.
But I agree 100% about the 2 MLK & 2 Juneteenth parades. And after my 1st run & last run in with that Stamps fella, I can see why. The wrong people are going around trying to be so-called leaders.
