Okay...so PV got it's happy football azzes handed to us with a golden boot stuck in it...

I can deal with that...good game GSU.  Yall really wanted it more.

But what I really want to know is how the bands did.  I hate I missed this game...due to circumstances beyond my control.

Looking forward to hearing the band play by by play.

To those of you guys on the road home, be safe.

    Put it like this PV band lacks class, trying to play when Grambling scores, trying to play when another band plays. You can tell the late, great Prof Edwards presence is not there. PV Band lost the halftime. It's obvious that they have been watching GSU's show from the GSU/JSU game, but it didn't work for them. smh. The Storm collapsed tonight and ran from a 5th. rotfl. Phluke View football is back to normal. Just about sums it up. P.S. Was that the first time PV band got booed off the field in the Cotton Bowl?

    Not much to say about GSU band I see. It must have been really tough for the wf tonight.

    Anyway, I'll wait for some more biased comments to come in.

    And PV NEVER got booed at the Cotton Bowl (not while I was there). I'm sure that if there WAS some booing going on, it more than likely came from the GSU camp. PV don't boo it's own...ever...

    Then I don't know.

    I guess I'll have to look at whatever clips people decide to put up...and be the judge for myself...

    they tried to have an extended 5th with TxSU after Reliant was saying leave after just 1 song... talking about "making TSU leave" egh whatever floats their boat I suppose.....

    Well i was at the game...and i will go ahead and get this out of the way....We whooped that ass.....SWAC belongs to us....now to the bands.....i hate how this classic has become toooooo commericalized...i mean when the bands had an opportunity to play, it was always some kind of loud ass advertisement on the jumblo screen or the radio personalties promoting the "official" after party...that pissed me off....so u reeally couldnt even hear the bands play because of that...

    Now halftime....i was actually some friends that were wit me for the first time at this game, that PV ususally shows out and kills it...Well, that wasnt the case this yr....yoiu guys were boring as hell on the field..no one could hear the singers and the dance routine was blah, blah, blah.,....i dont know...i just expected more....Oh and they did get booed....the PV people i was sittin by was like "WTF".....As for Grambling, they did the same show they did last week against jackson st with the exception of the star and songs in the dance routine....i still say GSU won halftime....Really didnt care for all the section call outs..i was more into the game and beating the breaks off the football team...i will say this...our tubas are nice....That is all....on to the next one......

    So what yall are saying is that GSU is 2-0 in SWAC this year?! (band wise)

    Why hasn't anyone mentioned sound quality, arrangments, song selection......ya know the other things that decide "the better band"?

    Man GSU fans almost always boo. PV side could have folk jumpin out the second level and GSU still will boo. That aint nothin new.
