I'm Feeling Kinda Down Becausee I Quit The Band...I Was A Clarinet Section Leader And Had 3 Crabs...I Mean I need Some Advice Becausee I Can't do This Non-Band Member Stuff It Sucks And It's Boring.. I Mean My Band Director's Piss Me Off Likee All The Time He Just Get's On Me Everyday Like Everything I Do Is "Soooo Wrong"...But I need Help/Some Guidance..Cause This Is So Freakin Stressful, and I Don't Know What To Do...aaaggghhhhh!!

There were days I didn't want to be in band, there were times i didn't feel like going to practice, but because I love band so much, I couldn't help it. and besides, i always felt like, if i don't go. I'd miss out. so I went faithfully.
Also.. It's like a waste of ,money to quit band... might as well rejoin and don't worry about all the small things that happen...
Honestly he was preparing you for life ahead because nobody is really "nice" today's world. You have be able to take a lashing and give one right back. An especially if you are in a leadership position like that and you just quit because it was "irritating"/"too hard", what kind of example does that set for your crabs? Who do they have to look up to? you owe it to them to come back or at least give an explanation, and NOT fray when the BD starts yelling.
perfect example. MY crab year, we started out with 11 trombones..ended the season with 6, two old heads and 4 crabs, me included. EveryDAY the BD would say "trombones you suck, yall gettin blown out, I can't hear yall"....The ones that quit couldn't play that well anyway, but my CBs and CS took everything he threw at us and threw it back in his face through our horns. Now we are one of the most consistent sections in the band.
Moral of the story, you gotta learn to deal with TALK, how you bounce back from it is what really matters. Running when someone yells at you (which is what you did), makes you look weak....
the ONLY reasons you should have for quiting something you love is your health, academics or family.

As a Section Leader, you should be able to take the BS ur BD throws at you. dont quit or throw more back.
It only takes one people of 25 people to bring them down. or rise them up. RISE YOUR GROUP UP!!!
Go back to your BD, confront him, apologize for quitting, ask for another chance and show him you can make a difference in that band. You lose apart of youself when you quit something you love to do. Music is apart of everyone on this site and can not live without it and can feel empty without it. Go back
Remeber when I asked you how many scales you knew and you said 12 .. and then I asked how many your section knew and you said about three.. WELL..... GET YO AZZ BACK TO THAT BAND ROOM AND TEACH THEM NEGROS EVERYTHING YOU KNOW......RATHER YOUR STILL SECTION LEADER OR NOT......TARREN LETS NOT HAVE THIS MESS HAPPEN AGAIN.. PLEASE... THANKS GOD BLESS
