OK...Someone explain to me....

...how SU going Jackson twice is a bad thing? What am I missing?

Ive been reading post, and it seems like almost everytime someone mentions SU going to Jackson twice...they act like that's a horrible idea. Now, mind you...Im not talking about the logicstics (ie...money, traveling). Im talking the basic idea of SU going to Jackson twice. How is that NOT a good idea?

SU has enough for 4 weeks in a row worth of arse whoop'ns. Or, is this about SU's opponent not having enough to carry a BOTB's and a game?

Man, if the city of Jackson wants to invite SU more than once...they'd be stupid to pass up those money opps.

Double the Pleasure, Double the fun... they need to just make JSU/SU a BOTB man we're in the "Battle Era" of marching bands.. lol where Band Only Funtions are overhyped and badly put together..... so hey.. it's a good thing..

I think it's more of people only wanting to see the bands go at it once and putting it all out there. It's like win or go home. Ain't no re-do's or we will get them next time. Like I really don't care to go to a BOTB the day before a game. I want to see everything at the game. Zero Qt, game, halftime, 5th. Bands will be reluctant to play something or save something for the second go round and if you don't make both you miss out. lol. , But I do understand the BOTB's especially with the SWAC rules, etc.....Another aspect might be people not wanting to travel and pay to see them twice. Especially with this economy.

So let me get this right, SU will be attending the upcoming botb in jackson this Sunday and then Friday botb before the game as well... If this is correct then that's whole lotta SU in jackson lol

That will never happen. We sent out a BOTB invite to the suckas last year..all we got was a DENIAL lol and pukebox members having a million and one excuses why NOT to battle the Boom...(shrugs)
