Recently McKinley high school has added quads to the drum line and I was wondering if any one thinks it is an improvement. I would like to hear peoples opinions.

Any multi-tom instrument will add flavor and a whole new level of technicality to your drum section if used right. Its by far the most difficult drum to play but maaaan it does some damage.
Its in improvement if used effectively. Try to think of quad parts in cadences/songs as the bridge between Snare/tenor parts. Not too busy, but useful when drecorating funky syncopation.
I noticed the addition of quads for you guys at the 2011 MLK BOTB. You guys got "shafted" BTW. I enjoyed yalls show.
