    as a Southern alumni....and not being biased...PV had the power so did TxSU but they sure did surprise them during the 5th....i was like whoa...PV is something to watch for this fall!

    Man, Im sorry ,but PV did not win this weekend...Im not saying they trash they good,but no match for the Ocean of Soul.I also think the music they play is to EASY for a college band to be playing easy enough to blow loud with "hint hint" I also dont think they have much of a book .... Ocean took this W ...but dont take my word just hold on bandhead fans ...

    TxSU's book was on point...but I've learned thru experience that there's a difference between having a good book and having a good song selection...

    ...all my opinion tho.
