...i'm not a percussionist, but i DO know that you can contact the music department at TxSU and ASK lol be sure to familiarize yourself with all percussion instruments so that you will be more usable to the section, say if they dont have a spot for quints (not quads- most of the SWAC uses quints) but they need snares, if you're familiar with the instrument, then not bein on quint wont ruin your chances of marching. cuz the same thing happened to my cs- she didnt make the snare line, but there was a need for quints...if she wasnt familiar with it then she woulda ben a$$ out...you see?
now...since you're interested in TxSU, idk Mr. D's contact info, but you can contact Prof. Lee @ 713-313-7336 or email him at Lee_RF@tsu.edu and he should be able to answer any other questions you may have...
oh...and you should probably take the Ocean label off your avatar...just a suggestion
Well I play quints at tsu.......start working on rudiments and hybrids. If you ReALLY want to play quints I can help u when u get down here, a lot people come down here and struggle with the rudiments we play on thr drums....jus practice mna straight up. Add me as a friend on here and I'll help u. But u REALLY gotta practice lol we will have u drumless for a couple of games. That is if you don't practice and jus come down here lol. And take that ocean logo off before somebodyelse see it lmao
Im glad to see to people are progressing because I remember a time if u had anything with the college u wanted to go to on here u would get chewed out and they would have a lynch mob waitin on u lmao But I hope it works out for u.....
