Say bruh...Im sitting here watching an ASU v SU clip and I got to wondering. Someone commented on hoping you'd get on the box....which brought up a question that Ive been meaning to ask you.When they gon' let you direct at the games, bruh? Who needs to be kicked square in the arse to make this happen?Now, I know I went to SU...and, that's just how SU does it "compared" to other school. TxSU kinna has the same deal as ASU. Someone will write something...and, someone else will direct it. But, in my eyes..."da*n that", Id be talk'n about directing my on songs. And, I'd ask of that if I were at any university.I already know you probably want to, anyway....so, any chance you'll get that changed in the near future?

Ian....it was at the point beginning in '01 at TSU that someone would write something, it would get edited and that person would not be able to direct it either........
Actually, most of 2007 I was on the box. Prior to the 2008 season, my father got sick, and from that point my attention was on my family and I wasn't working with the band as much. However, things are better now with my family so look for me to be back on the box (maybe not as much as I used to be); but this year I'll be back. I conducted at the FAMU game, this year but that's all.
I want to start seeing some of the younger faces directing these bands. Esp, if they're the ones pimp'n the pen. It's long overdue. Hopefully, the SWAC can get to the point where most of the schools have atleast 1 or 2 young cats trying their hand at arranging for their band.
Not trying to kick all the old guys out, but.....*shrugs*. I'd like to see the SWAC get more vibrant, while getting more competitive every year.
