QUESTION, i need somee helpp ''/

Question: If youu we're kicked out of youur Band for laughing and etc. In a Class..Would it be wrong to go play in another schools band? Cause i dont wanna just go to nother band and get their director in trouble. Sooooooo? HELP Me.. Pleasee !

    yes that is unethical...

    like going to grambling and trying to march for southern...

    or attending walker and marching for St.Aug..

    and if the director lets you then he or she should be fired

    ummm question is, do you do that alot...directors put up with too much BS already with low attendence and low funds and having to deal with the politics of the band. Wait...you march for Madison dont you??? cuz you post alot of questions in these forums...here is what u need to do. and i mean this as no disrespect to you but grow up and be serious everytime you are in that bandhall. Should be no room for laughing and games when he is trying to teach.  From how u talk on here, you love this stuff, but its time to be serious about it.

     

    But to answer your question, DO NOT DO THAT!!! B. Mitchell is right. the directors of both bands will get into trouble. These directors go through enough!! If you march for another band and you do not attend that school. the school, band and director are not liable if you are hurt in a performance or something happens to you because they have no record on u at that school. Save everyone the trouble and stay where you are!

    Not sure what you mean by "etc." but I assume you were misbehaving and disrupting the class beyond laughing. And you will be the first one crying foul and blaming the system for your stupidity when you get out of HS and realize you didn't learn a thing. You should adjust your behavior, go back and apologize to your director.

    Lil lady didn't u quit band last year and ask for advice? I see a pattern from you and it needs to stop. Either u nget it together and be dedicated to your own band or quit band point blank. We directors aren't playin this year.

    Personally my heart breaks when a student quits any band but u nd to come on with it. I wanna see madison make a coneback

      I didnt quit i was thinking about it....and I am currently appologizing right now.

        Godo job.  We all make dumb mistakes.  You have to move on past it and build from it.  Like I said I wanna see Madison make a comeback this year and you have an active part in it.

    ...aside from trouble for each of the directors, this speaks to your lack of discipline, integrity, and loyalty.

    There must have been something going on with that laughing to get someone kicked out.  And to want to march ILLEGALLY at another school is weak as _____________.  In my experience, Band kids with that mentality tend to have a hard time graduating on time, and have NOT lasted past crab week on the college level. 

     

    And any director that allows that foolishness usually gets themselves in trouble.
