JSU's chief arranger has left for the post of Band Director at Fayetteville State, which participates in the Division II Conference of the CIAA. What do you think about the hire?

Fayetteville may have discovered a hidden gem, assuming they don't try to fight the new direction. Speaking as someone who studied and performed with mr. Chism, the man has much to offer. I think he's the kind of individual who thrives when he's given the lead. The CIAA might get a lil heat come this fall...
I agree, being of a alum of WSSU and marching under Dr. Magruder for 4 years. The program has grown so much under his direction and continues to. I know for that will give us (WSSU) a challenge being that we dominate the CIAA in all aspects! (Band, Sports, etc.)

Two years from now, WSSU vs FSU will be great.
Two amazing (former Boom) directors going at it... can´t ask for anything else.
