We will be playing tunes in prepration for TSU Concert Band Fest. and UIL Concert Band and Sight Reading Contest.
Get your Jazz band to play "Flying Home" by Lionel Hampton.
Marcus Wilmore (left) and Red Tail Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson (right). Mr. Jefferson is one of three POW Tuskegee Airmen Pilots that is still living. He wrote the book 'Red Tails Captured' that inspired the movie Red Tails.
Mr Jefferson legacy goes futher than being a Tuskegee Airmen. His grandfather William Jefferson White was one of the founding members who opened Morehouse College.
Mr. Jefferson is 90 years old.
