I Know for one thing that fans have the tendency to complain about the bands song selection or how they performed. At My School sometimes in class ppl ask me how come we dont play enough rap songs or why are we not crunk enough ??? But in My Mind Im thinking why am I Paying them any attention they're not in band and they dont know real music. They just want us to be crunk and play Hip Hop but Hip Hop is always not real music. They dont appreciate songs by Stevie Wonder and other great artists. But at the same time, Should I listen to them ??? Do they really have a good point ???? Could Listening to them help us as a band ???? Whats Your Opinion ??? Should we listen to the fans ?

Just mix it up, its nothing wrong with getting the crowds appeal from time to time. Real music is what you make it, as long as you guys have good arrangements and your band sounds good, there shouldn't be any problem with updating your book with a few selections.
yes and no....because once u play a few songs they know they'll keep listening, in actuality waiting on another coon song, but hear real music and begin to appreciate the program.
If you sound good, it ain't gone really matter what u play.
I see what u mean mix the song selections up and make sure it sounds good. My only problem is sometimes I feel like no matter how much we improve or get the crowed hyped up there is still gonna be those critics...it could be a band that sounds horrible compared to us but just crunk and they will say they are better than us
Let them talk, everything is gonna have its critics trust me. Thats what makes you better, the more people talk about you the more those people always got you on their mind lol. Crunk doesn't mean nothin to real musicians.
Mixing it up never hurt anybody. its usually my band members that complain about me mixing too much because I include a few spanish tune, rap, r&b, and a ton of mix pop rock and funk classics.
Yes because you arent performing for yourself. You have to take the crowd into consideration
No when it comes to the expense of music. Dont just put anything out there just to please the crowd. Its not worth playing elementary music at a college level. Its a balance of both pleasing the crowd and appealing to the musician that you are.
Well Band is for entertainment...thats just like a artist if he or she not make songs that we like then they wouldnt have any fans at all..so my thing yes we should but at the same time we should be able to real songs to
