Something tha can be serious and a little funny

I know that are some people in my family that can out money together and create a check that can buy at least twelve or more instruments or the entire band members uniform for my school band. Is it a good idea to give the band director the check or the principal?

  • it depends on yur band director, who do you think handles/cares more about the band. cuz at my old skool da principal ddnt giv a eff so i woulda gave it 2 da bd
  • Have them make out the check to the music store or uniform company directly...with your BD there to witness.
  • I think you should give it to whoever is in charge of the money. A lot of bands have a "Parent Booster Club", and there may be a treasure in there. So if your band has that I suggest you do that. But if it's just your Band Director or Principal, I suggest your Band Director.
  • Give the check to whatever the booster association for the band is. If you give it too the principal, you just made a donation to the school and they'll just spend it on anything. If you give it too the band director, you have no guarantee that you can trust them because you're depositing it directly to his account. But there's usually a booseter group run by the parents and the director that handles things like that. It's also a private fund that can be used only for the band that way and the school itself has no actual say in it.
