oooohhhhh maaan the list is long. I dont think many bands realize what GRAM put up with.i mean it REALLY isnt the band students fault we play lame songs back lol....example: Jackson can just get through blowin "neck" then Doc stands up and says something like..."fight song then Wade in the water"...we be like AWWW MAAYNNE.lol so true though.yall got to realize that b4 we come to a game...our director got these wack songs in his mind he wanna play and cant no one talk him out of it.

I know how you feel man, that boy Doc be on trip mode. But still if the song is wack still make the song sound good and not let the crowd know we don't like it because the crowd could tell.
Its nothing wrong with playing the fight song anytime during the game. I just think they need to add the T-bones back to the intro of the fight song and not just the trumpets. I kinda wish we play the fight song when we score instead of tiger rag but that just my opinion. Outside of the band it's a beautiful thing to see the crowd singing the fight song. Bustin Out is one of Doc's best arrangements but this past year band (08) didn't have a strong enough t-bone or tuba section whip or play that song right. I can agree with you on the those other songs. LOL 400 is old but the problem with that song too is the t-bone and tubas they weak but it is time to retire that song.

lol i guess i hate the fight song cuz we score all the damn time and play it all game long lol.Mr. Magic isnt a bad arrangement but dont think its good for a football game.i dont think people understand whens a good time to play those kind of songs.its a football game.people wanna hear a battle.seem to me like we be playing songs like we at a soccer match

you are absoloutly right...Doc be tryna throw any song out there knowing that these past two years we was getting weak on low brass.thats what i hate.i liked 400 in 06 but since then its been wack to me, i just like when the tubas come in.and he does arrange good but after listening to what people in the crowd say cuz i sit closer to that area sometimes,people be like "no offense but why play a gospel song at a football game?'' i jus laugh and say talk to the director.or you know not just that but they always wanna know y we play what we play and all i can say is talk to the director not me lol

OMG I hated that song with a passion. The only time I didnt mind playing it was when we did a memorial march for the 5 track students that died in that accident.
