Its not just the coach, its the players too. SU needs better recruits, LSU getting all of our good black football players, time out for all that.
AND YA RIGHT, BUT SU GOES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY RECRUITING WHEN THEY HAVE HOMEGROWN BOYS THAT WANT TO PLAY FOR SU AS WELL. IF THEY STOP ALL THE FAVORS AND GET RID OF THE " GOOD OLE BOY" SYSTEM IN THIS STATE THE BETTER OFF THEY WILL BE AND THAT GOES FOR ALL ASPECTS OF SU.

It's just sad. But after the firing of Pete and know this bullshit, and now that LaFleur is no longer Athletic Director, this hopefully will FORCE SU across the board, to take better consideration and PRIDE in who they hire for these positions. They think its FUN AND GAMES to hire your friends, buddies, frat brothers, family, etc, UNTIL they start losing money, fans, support, sponsors, tv deals, etc, and then get some angry ole alumni ready to whoop yo ass (literally). if this doesnt propel them to get it right and stop the foolishness, then I dont know what will.
And I agree, the quarterback and others are utterly horrible. But unfortunately in the business/professional world, the HEAD LEADER's head is always the MAIN one on the chopping block. That's why ALOT of people choose not to be CEO's. managers, etc...cause no matter what happens or whose fault it REALLY is, YOU are the LEADER and you were supposed to PRODUCE.
Sad days for SU tho. Cause classes were cancelled yesterday, and still had a HALF FULL stadium, with a major TV network there. smh

TRUTH BE TOLD, THIS IS BIGGER THAN SU, DO ALL OF YOU REALIZE THAT IF SOUTHERN GOES DOWN, THE SWAC GOES DOWN. MOST OF THE GAME ATTENDANCE DEPENDS ON THE NATION. SOUTHERN IS THE SWAC'S GOLDEN GOOSE AND IF THE NATION DOES NOT ATTEND GAMES, OTHER SCHOOL'S WILL SUFFER AS WELL. IF THE NATION DOES NOT SHOW UP IN JACKSON NEXT WEEKEND, JSU WILL NOT MAKE ANYTHING, THEY MAY LEAD IN ATTENDANCE BUT THEY STILL DON'T COMPLETELY FILL THAT STADIUM UNTIL THE NATION COMES THROUGH. NO TEAM TRAVELS LIKE THE JAGUAR NATION POINT BLANK PERIOD. (IN MY TAMAR BRAXTON VOICE #BFV)
